Just got back from fabulous Las Vegas! Thursday started out at the Ceaser’s Palace pool. I soaked up some rays with a cool Miller Lite (shout out to Courtenay). I wound up walking through the casino and figured “what the heck” and put a $20 into a slot machine. This lead to an absolute addicting round of slots. I played solid for about an hour on that $20 bucks. The slot machine was a Goldfish game. That thing was SO fun. I had never gambled before, so I didn’t really know what to expect. I got up to $140, and I should have cashed out, but I’m a greedy little girl so I kept going ’til I busted. But for the hour of entertainment I got, I think it was worth it. The entire weekend was full of me walking into different casinos and hearing the “fishy game” noises and wanting to play again. Thursday was also Hoover Dam day. I took a lot of Dam pictures and had a Dam great time. It was my second visit and they’re now building a new bridge which was pretty amazing to see. Friday – Sunday consisted of walking around all the different hotels/casinos and general sightseeing. Friday I saw Cirque du Soleil: Believe. It was pretty neat. Saturday I ate at the hands-down-best Japanese steakhouse, Shibuya. Located in the MGM Grand Hotel, this place was absolutely wonderful. Everything I put in my mouth was mind-blowing. If you’re planning a trip to Vegas, you HAVE to hit that place…ya know…if you like steak. Before the amazing dinner, I toured around and saw the Bellagio Conservatory, MGM lions and several attractions at different hotels. Sunday was really laid back and my flight left early that afternoon. I was exhausted when I got home. The trip was lots of fun and I definitely think I want to put Vegas on my list of regular places to travel.
